1. What we collect

• Newsletter email address: only if you actively sign up for the weekly Riviera letter.
• Language preference: stored in your browser so the site opens in your chosen language.
• Optional account data: if you create a “My Riviera” account, we store your saved places, interests and preferred communes. You can delete this at any time.
• Anonymous usage events: counts of which pages are viewed and which features are used, without identifying you personally.
• Location: only when you explicitly press “Use my location”. It is used once and never stored.

2. What we do not collect

We do not use tracking cookies for advertising, we do not build personal profiles for sale, and we do not track where you have been on the site.

3. How we use your data

• To send the weekly newsletter you signed up for.
• To remember your language and optional preferences.
• To improve the service based on anonymous usage patterns.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Technical hosting and email delivery are handled by our subcontractors, who only process data on our behalf and under our instructions.

5. Your rights
